Together with you, we are here to help keep Hillsborough County and Florida safe.
DUI Counterattack, Hillsborough, Inc., was incorporated in 1971 to provide drug and alcohol education courses to persons convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or other drugs, who elect to attend prior to appearing in court, or who are required to attend by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and who live, work or attend school in Hillsborough County.
The Florida DUI system is regulated and monitored by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Completion of an approved DUI program is statutorily required of individuals violating Florida's DUI laws. Attendance may also be required for alcohol and controlled substance related administrative suspensions. Currently Florida Statutes require that persons convicted of driving under the influence must attend a substance abuse educational course, complete a face to face evaluation with a certified evaluator and complete treatment or counseling as required by the DUI program.
DUI Counterattack is a private, nonprofit corporation and is supported solely by user fees. The primary goal of the DUI system is to reduce the number of repeat offenders on Florida's roads.
